Para o comandante, mesmo não sendo o time principal, o Vitória é um adversário difícil. “Pela tradição, pela força no futebol brasileiro e não é porque vem para cá com o time Sub-23 que a dificuldade será menor. Não tem partida fácil, cada jogo é uma decisão e em se tratando do Vitória pode ser até mais difícil porque os garotos querem ‘um lugar ao sol’ e vão aproveitar a oportunidade para dar tudo de si no Baiano”, comentou. “Por isso, precisamos estar atentos, ter uma boa estratégia de jogo para surpreende-los e conseguir os três pontos”, complementou.
O técnico também busca corrigir alguns erros observados na partida contra o Atlético, principalmente o fato de ter levado gol muito cedo. “Tomar gol muito cedo, que é algo que considero grave. Nosso time não pode tomar um gol tão cedo, isso desarticula bastante nossa ideia de jogo. Mas reagimos bem no primeiro tempo. Conseguimos tirar as ações do adversário com mais qualidade”, apontou.
O time treina hoje e amanhã finaliza os trabalhos para o compromisso contra o Vitória no domingo às 16 horas no Joia da Princesa. Quem quiser assistir o jogo pode encontrar ingressos de R$ 40 (inteira); R$ 20 (meia-entrada) nas arquibancadas e R$ 50 nas cadeiras cativas.
